Make Invisible Visible

Every year, thousands of students create brilliant science fair projects—but most of them remain unseen, disappearing after judging day. Important ideas stay trapped on tri-fold boards, never reaching the people who could benefit from them. Science becomes invisible.

We want to change that.

Making Real Science Visible

Microplastics are one of the most hidden environmental dangers today. Tiny plastic particles—too small to see—are polluting our water, food, soil, and even our bodies. Recent studies show:

  • Only 60% of global plastic waste is properly collected

  • Microplastics contaminate air, oceans, farms, and drinking water

  • The average person consumes 74,000–121,000 plastic particles per year

  • In 2024, microplastics were found in human arteries, increasing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and death by 4.5×

The problem is serious, growing, and invisible—until someone makes it visible.

Student Discovery: Solving Pollution with Sound

A team of high school students from Santa Clara County transformed their science fair project into a real environmental breakthrough. They discovered that sound waves traveling through a tube can separate microplastic particles from water—without using traditional filters.

✅ No clogging
✅ Low cost
✅ Works as a continuous-flow system
✅ Scalable for real-world water cleanup

Their research shows how simple physics can power real-world environmental solutions.

Making Science Reach the Public

Instead of letting their research disappear after the science fair, the team turned their experiment into a public education video to raise awareness and inspire others.

This is what it means to make science visible—to share it beyond competitions, beyond classrooms, and into the real world where it can create impact.
