CP Mentorship and Guyu Chinese School are inviting children ages 6–10 to join our upcoming CATS musical performance!
Young performers will have the opportunity to learn singing, dance, acting, and stage performance while preparing for a live musical production. The program will include group singing, choreography, character movement, and selected scenes from CATS.
Program Details
Start Date: Sunday, September 13, 2026
Rehearsal Time: 4:30–6:00 PM
Location: GR EDU / Guyu Chinese School
Address: 10105 S De Anza Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014
Rehearsals will take place on Sundays, with approximately 10–12 rehearsal sessions before the final performance. Each session is 1.5 hours.
Who Can Join?
We are looking for 7–10 additional young performers, ages 6–10. Previous musical theater experience is not required. Children who enjoy singing, dancing, acting, or performing are welcome to participate.
What Will Participants Learn?
Group singing and musical numbers
Dance and choreography
Character movement and acting
Stage performance and teamwork
Selected scenes and roles from CATS
The teaching team will divide the rehearsal responsibilities and take turns leading sessions as needed.
