Cooking Camp Week 1
We’re so excited to share a peek into Week 1 of our Cooking Summer Camp! It has been such a joy to watch our young chefs roll up their sleeves, try new ingredients, and gain confidence in the kitchen.
This week, we kicked things off with a focus on making healthy, fresh snacks that are simple enough for kids to recreate at home. With plenty of leafy greens and colorful vegetables to choose from, our campers learned how to wash, prepare, and combine different ingredients to make their own wraps and bites.
What makes this experience so special is seeing how proud the kids are of what they create. Many of them are tasting vegetables they weren’t sure about before, and encouraging each other to try new things. There’s so much laughter, teamwork, and curiosity as they discover what flavors they like and how to mix and match them.
Beyond the kitchen, this week’s activities have helped campers build responsibility and independence. They are learning that healthy food can be fun and tasty — and that they can prepare it all by themselves with a little guidance. It’s wonderful to see them gain confidence each day, and to watch friendships grow over shared meals and snack times.
We can’t wait to see what our budding chefs come up with next week. Thank you for trusting us to cook up these memorable moments with your kids. Stay tuned — there’s plenty more delicious fun ahead!
