Uganda Mural Painting Project – Progress Update at Kasangula Talent School

The Uganda Mural Painting Project at Kasangula Talent School is steadily progressing through its early and mid design phases, bringing together students from Uganda and the United States in a shared creative process.

So far, students have collaborated around key sustainability themes such as Food, Water, Energy, and Waste, using these as a foundation to develop ideas and visual storytelling. Through both live and independent sessions, participants have been actively shaping and refining the mural concept.

The project continues to move between digital design development and in-person creative planning, helping students strengthen their ideas and prepare for the physical creation of the artwork.

Each phase builds toward a unified mural that reflects shared perspectives, teamwork, and cross-cultural collaboration.
