NASA Internship Team Kicks off their First Week

NASA Internship Team

Our NASA Internship Team kicked off their first week at NASA last week! Students will spend two days a week at NASA Ames Research Center, one of ten NASA field centers, located in the heart of Silicon Valley. Students will work with a NASA mentor to design and visualize the essential elements for a future Mars base

Today, the team will begin learning cutting-edge tools like Blender and plan to create 3D animations, visual simulations, and even a Metaverse featuring Martian architecture, mission vehicles, and aircraft.

More about NASA Ames Research Center

NASA’s Ames Research Center, one of ten NASA field centers, is located in the heart of California’s Silicon Valley. Since 1939, Ames has led NASA in conducting world-class research and development in aeronautics, exploration technology, and science aligned with the center’s core capabilities.

Students will have the ability to learn from NASA professionals in a collaborative, hands-on environment that encourages innovation and critical thinking. From direct mentoring from NASA mentors to participating in real-world projects, students will gain invaluable experience in aerospace research, data analysis, and teamwork and collaboration. These skills are essential for the next generation of innovators.
