As part of Transit Month and the Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCN) Transit Challenge, join us at Murphy Park for an Interactive Walk & Drone Audit! This unique event combines community engagement with cutting-edge technology to evaluate and improve our local walking , biking and transit spaces.
Participants will:
Join a guided walk audit along designated routes from Murphy Park to assess pedestrian and bike safety, accessibility, and transit infrastructure
Use drone technology to capture aerial perspectives of the park and surrounding areas
Share observations and ideas to make our community more walkable and transit-friendly
Learn how technology like drones can enhance urban planning and public safety efforts
This is a fantastic opportunity to explore your neighborhood, contribute to meaningful improvements, and get hands-on with drone tech — all while accomplishing the SVCN Transit Challenge and celebrating Transit Month!
And best of all, it’s family-friendly and a great experience for kids too!
