Join us for a hands-on Introduction to Robotics workshop designed for curious and creative middle schoolers! This free event partners with AquaMeridian, a student-run organization dedicated to educating and inspiring youth to take action in ocean conservation. We offer an exciting day of hands-on learning experiences with robotics and the real-world application of ocean conservation.
Participants will:
- Hear from guest speakers to present underwater ROV
- Enjoy dynamic presentations on the science research
- Take part in interactive workshops covering software programming and hardware assembly
- Build and test a wide range of robots with laptops
- Boost your ideas about ocean & environmental innovation
- Compete in a fun, friendly robotics challenge
Whether you’re new to robotics or already have some experience, this event is the perfect opportunity to explore STEM, collaborate with peers, bring your innovative ideas to life, and contribute to our environment!
Notes: This event is a part of National Robotics Week (4/4-4/12). It is not affiliated with Fremont Main Library.
