Join us for the Book Launch Celebration of One Way Mission: The Doolittle Raid and Chinese Rescue, a book written by our students that explores the remarkable story of the Doolittle Raid and the courageous Chinese civilians who risked their lives to rescue American airmen during World War II.

The celebration will take place on Saturday, August 8 at the USS Hornet Museum in Alameda. Museum doors open at 10:00 AM. Visitors are invited to stop by our book display, located across from the gift shop next to the Avenger aircraft, and watch a screening of The Great Doolittle Raid Rescue documentary.

During the event, our student authors will also take the stage to share their research, experiences, and the inspiration behind the book. It is a wonderful opportunity to support young historians, learn about this important chapter of history, and celebrate the completion of their work.
