Fundraising Party for Drone-a-thon — A Day of Learning, Flying, and Fun!

Sunday, October 12th, 2025 was a day filled with laughter, learning, and inspiration at our Fundraising Party for Drone-a-thon!
From morning workshops to afternoon drone flying, the event brought together students, mentors, and community members for a vibrant day of connection and creativity.

We kicked off the morning with a resume-building workshop, where mentors shared their real-world experiences and offered practical advice on how to craft resumes that truly stand out. After that, students participated in mock interviews and networking sessions, gaining insights into career planning and professional communication — skills that will stay with them for years to come.

The afternoon was all about fun and energy! Everyone gathered for a BBQ lunch, chatting over delicious food while forming new friendships. Then, our talented high school drone team amazed the crowd with an incredible drone flight demonstration — precision, teamwork, and excitement all in the air!

Mentors continued to engage with both college and high school students, sharing valuable career stories and answering questions about the world of work.

The day wrapped up with more networking and heartfelt goodbyes — but not before everyone pitched in to help clean up, showing the same team spirit that defined the whole event.

It wasn’t just a fundraiser — it was a celebration of learning, leadership, and community.
Through shared experiences, new friendships, and inspiring conversations, everyone left with something special: confidence, motivation, and the excitement to keep exploring new horizons.
