Celebrating the Launch of One Way Mission at the USS Hornet Museum

We recently celebrated the launch of One Way Mission: The Doolittle Raid and the Chinese Rescue at the historic USS Hornet Museum in Alameda, California.

The event brought together students, families, community members, and visitors to celebrate a special project researched and written by high school students. Guests had the opportunity to meet the student authors, learn more about their research, and hear about the story behind the book.

Throughout the event, the student authors shared their work, answered questions, and signed copies of the book. It was wonderful to see so many people interested in the students' research and this important chapter of history.

We are very proud of the students who worked hard to research, write, and complete this project. Their dedication shows how young people can learn about history while creating something meaningful to share with others.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration special! We are grateful to the USS Hornet Museum, our supporters, families, friends, and everyone who supported the students throughout this project.

Thank you for being part of this special celebration and for supporting the next generation of young historians and storytellers.
