Alviso Program Update: Robotics & Wearable Tech Coming Soon

Thanks to the generous support of the Alviso Legacy Foundation, new STEM learning opportunities continue to grow for youth in the Alviso community.

One of our newest initiatives, Robotics & Wearable Tech with Micro:bit and AI, is moving forward and is planned as a series of weekend classes following the Summer Camp season. Through hands-on projects, students will explore coding, electronics, wearable technology, and artificial intelligence while developing creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.

We are excited to share that the equipment purchase has been completed, providing students with the tools they need to begin their learning journey. Our team is currently finalizing the curriculum to ensure an engaging and meaningful experience for participants.

We are also exploring the Library at South Bay Yacht Club as a potential location for the program, creating a welcoming space where students can learn, collaborate, and innovate together.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Alviso Legacy Foundation for making programs like this possible. Their continued investment in local youth helps create opportunities for learning, leadership, and future career exploration right here in Alviso.

We look forward to sharing more updates as we prepare to launch this exciting new program and inspire the next generation of innovators.
